3、 The difference between cloth tape and ordinary tape
First of all, from the perspective of viscosity
Compared with transparent OPP sealing tape, cloth base has higher viscosity. In addition, cloth tape can also be adjusted according to the actual use of glue weight, customized different viscosity.
Secondly, from the aspect of tensile analysis
Transparent OPP has low tensile strength and is generally used for packing ordinary articles. For some heavy objects, the ordinary tape has limited resistance, so it is impossible to complete the solid and firm packing and binding operation.
Cloth tape is composed of polyethylene film and gauze as the base material, and the gauze fiber makes it have strong tensile resistance. We can use cloth base instead of ordinary tape when we are strapping large and heavy objects.
From the operation process to analyze
Transparent OPP needs to be used with a case sealer or art cutter, which is not convenient for home use.
Although the cloth tape is so tensile, in actual operation, it can be easily torn off by hand without using any props, which is quite convenient.
Of course, the cloth tape also has bright colors, oil resistance, water resistance, corrosion resistance and other characteristics. We can use it in many aspects, such as ground marking, pipeline repairing, handicraft packaging and so on.
